Big news: TrustedTech has been selected as one of the first Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers in the world to join Unified for Partners, Microsoft’s next-generation support model for CSPs.
Unified for Partners (UfP) replaces Microsoft’s legacy Advanced Support for Partners (ASfP) and Premier Support for Partners (PSfP) programs with a scalable, cloud-aligned offering. Instead of treating partner support and Microsoft engineering as separate layers, UfP brings them together as a single, connected team: partner-led frontline engagement, backed directly by Microsoft expertise. This is the latest step in Microsoft’s shift to partner-led support.
Early adopter status puts TrustedTech at the front of the shift in Microsoft’s CSP support model that the rest of the industry will eventually have to make. ASfP is scheduled for retirement in January 2027, with PSfP to follow; TrustedTech customers get to experience the new model now, well ahead of general availability.
What This Means for Our Customers
Joining Unified for Partners as an early adopter gives TrustedTech, and by extension our customers, access to a set of capabilities built for speed, transparency, and accountability:
- 30-minute enhanced response times. Cases that require engineering-level support get routed through Severity Enhanced Response (SevER) tickets, so the clock on complex issues starts moving immediately, not after a lengthy triage queue.
- Full ticket visibility. Advanced reporting and analytics mean every customer ticket lives in one place, giving our team the insights to keep improving support performance rather than guessing at where the friction is.
- A single, connected support experience. Support is still led by TrustedTech; it is simply reinforced by direct Microsoft alignment, so customers get one dependable point of contact backed by Microsoft’s own engineering bench.
- Faster issue resolution through shared knowledge. A centralized Partner Content Portal helps our engineers resolve customer issues faster and improve first-contact resolution rates.
Why TrustedTech Was Chosen Early
Microsoft is rolling out Unified for Partners through a deliberate, phased launch, piloting the model with a select group of qualified partners before expanding toward general availability in late 2027. TrustedTech’s selection reflects the strength of its in-house Microsoft support organization, previously recognized through Microsoft’s Support Services designation and reflected in how TrustedTech stacks up in a CSP vs. Unified Support comparison.
“We’re excited that TrustedTech has signed on as an early adopter of Microsoft Unified for Partners. Their investment in this model reflects a strong commitment to deepening our partnership and delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for our shared customers.” — Blane Spiers, Global GM, SME&C Customer & Partner Success, Microsoft
“While many providers rely heavily on escalation models, TrustedTech has invested in building one of the industry’s strongest in-house Microsoft support organizations, with 85% of customer issues resolved directly by our own engineers. Becoming an early adopter of Microsoft Unified for Partners reinforces that commitment, combining Microsoft’s Unified Support framework with the expertise, responsiveness, and accountability our customers have come to expect from TrustedTech globally.” — Todd Richardson, Chief Revenue Officer, TrustedTech
Early Adoption Is How We Work
This isn’t the first time TrustedTech has moved first. Being selected among the first Microsoft CSPs in the world to adopt Unified for Partners is a natural extension of how we’ve always approached the Microsoft ecosystem: build the in-house expertise first, then take on the programs that reward it. It is the same approach that has guided our customers through navigating Microsoft program transitions for years.
We’re proud to help shape the future of partner-led support alongside Microsoft, and even prouder that our customers get to feel the difference first.
