After purchasing the 5 user CALs for Remote Desktop Services, you will receive licensing instructions that will walk you through the process of adding them to your Remote Desktop Licensing Manager. If you have not enabled Terminal Services, you will see instructions on how to do so in the same licensing email.
User CAL versus Device:
If you have more devices than users (most common), you will want user CALs (ie: 10 devices, 4 users, you will only need to buy 4 user CALs).
